Describe the cabinet finish you want, then plan the work. Review the existing coating, painted parts and other changes in a free estimate.

Describe the appearance behind the finish request.

Explain whether you want an opaque painted color, a change to an already painted finish or a wood appearance that remains visible. Customers may use refinishing to describe different outcomes. A photo of the current cabinets and a description of the desired effect are more useful than the term alone.

Show wear around handles, door edges and drawers, and share any known coating details. The existing surface and desired result need review before a method is agreed. Stripping to bare wood, refacing or new cabinet fronts are not assumed to be included.

Separate painted parts from hardware changes.

List doors, drawer fronts, exposed ends and other surfaces you want refinished. Identify parts that should remain unchanged, and mention planned handles, hinges or other component changes. Those details can affect what needs review before painting.

A cabinet-painting estimate is not automatically new doors, replacement hardware or altered cabinets. Confirm which tasks are included and who handles any other work. Our photos show a real kitchen finish and preparation without assigning the job to Canton.

Plan kitchen use around the actual coating and scope.

Describe the access you need and the countertops, appliances and other surfaces that remain. Discuss protection, the handling of doors and the care instructions for the selected finish. A fixed return-to-use or cleaning interval is not assumed.

Send the Canton address, close-ups, cabinet surface list and preferred timing for a free estimate. We discuss the work and conditions by phone so the preparation, finish and any additional tasks are clear before the project is agreed.

Does cabinet refinishing always mean painting?

People use the term for different finish changes. Describe whether you want an opaque color or a visible wood appearance and show the existing surface. The method and suitability are reviewed; stripping, refacing or replacement is not automatically promised.

What should I show if paint is chipped around handles?

Send close-ups of the wear and wider views of the door or drawer. Mention previous painting, cleaning and any hardware change planned. The actual surface and repair needs are reviewed before the finish is agreed.

Does the painting price include new handles or hinges?

Only work specified and agreed in the scope is included. Mention any hardware changes and who will provide or install them so they are separated clearly from the coating work.

Are open shelves and cabinet end panels separate surfaces?

List them explicitly, together with the parts that should remain. An estimate for door and drawer fronts does not automatically describe every visible or interior cabinet surface.

Can I use the kitchen normally immediately after painting?

Discuss access and follow the handling and care requirements for the selected coating. A dry surface is not automatically fully cured; no universal return-to-use or cleaning interval is promised.
