New wallpaper or painted walls after removal. Plan the product, preparation and room access before work begins.
Wallpaper installation and wallpaper removal have different end results. Tell us which finish you want, whether paper is already on the wall, and what should remain unchanged.
For adjoining finishes, explore drywall repair and interior painting.
Plan the work around your project.
Open the topics that matter to your surfaces and how the space is used.
Choose installation, removal or both.
Tell us the finish you want: new wallpaper, a feature wall, replacement paper throughout a room or painted walls after removal. These requests share preparation work but lead to different scopes. Identify every wall, any ceiling or unusual feature, and the paper that should stay.
Wallpaper installation, wallpaper removal, drywall repair and interior painting are offered by INSPIRE. Include the adjoining paint or repair tasks you want considered so the estimate follows your chosen finish. The project photographs here show removal and surrounding preparation; they are not examples of newly installed wallpaper.
Share the exact paper before purchasing.
Send the manufacturer, product link or label, roll dimensions and hanging instructions. Include the material, pattern repeat and match details supplied with that product. The exact wallcovering is reviewed before its installation is agreed; a photograph of a design does not identify every product requirement.
Tell us whether you already have the rolls and whether they were bought together. Availability, the amount on hand and the room measurements should be discussed before placing a further order. Material suitability and any installation exclusions are confirmed for the selected product, rather than promising every wallpaper system.
Review the existing wall, paper and residue.
Show the painted or papered wall in an overall room view and include close-ups of loose edges, seams, earlier patches and visible damage. Tell us about existing layers or earlier removal attempts. Old paper and adhesive residue need their own review before the next finish; painting over an unresolved surface is not assumed to be the right plan.
Removal can expose conditions not visible beneath the paper. Identify where wall repairs, surface preparation or priming may belong in the agreed estimate. We discuss the substrate and proposed finish together. The recent foyer photographs give a clear view of patterned paper being removed from a tall wall.
Plan the pattern, measurements and focal wall.
Provide approximate wall width and height, plus photos showing corners, windows, doors and the feature you want the pattern to work around. Mention high stair walls, alcoves and other areas that are difficult to reach. An accent wall behind a bed differs from a whole room with several openings.
Roll quantity depends on the selected product and layout as well as wall area. Its pattern repeat and match influence planning, so discuss the label and measurements before ordering. A pattern layout and the amount of material should be agreed for the actual room; a generic square-foot allowance is not presented as an order calculation.
Agree access and the surrounding finishes.
Point out large furniture, occupied workspaces, stairs and any entrances needed during the day. Identify trim or ceiling painting planned for the same room, and tell us about your preferred timing. Preparation, material readiness and room access all belong in the conversation before a date is agreed.

Removal is part of the preparation.
Recent foyer photos show existing patterned walls and paper removal. The protected dining room is an adjoining preparation view. None of these photographs is presented as a new wallpaper installation.

Review the existing finish.
Show the current paper, wall edges and surrounding room so removal and any areas to preserve can be discussed.

Plan adjoining protection.
The adjoining dining-room view shows protected upper walls and flooring. Room protection and access are agreed for the actual project.

Patterned paper and lighter walls.
These foyer portfolio views show patterned walls, removal in progress and a later light-wall view. The later view is not a wallpaper-installation example or a claim that every stage of the job is complete.

Photos from INSPIRE's own project portfolio. Project locations are shown only where confirmed. Explore more of our work.
Can wallpaper removal and new installation be planned together?
Yes. Wallpaper removal and installation are both listed INSPIRE services, and drywall repair is also available. We review the existing paper, wall condition and proposed replacement so the estimate covers the preparation as well as the installation.
Should I buy the wallpaper before requesting an estimate?
You can request an estimate before purchasing. Send the product link and room photos first, then discuss the product requirements and quantity. If you already have the paper, include photos of the labels and tell us how much you have.
Which wallpaper materials can you install?
Send the exact manufacturer and product details with your request. We confirm whether that wallcovering is suitable for the proposed installation before agreeing the work, with preparation and hanging requirements reviewed for that product.
What information helps you prepare an estimate?
Include your project address, city and ZIP or postal code, the walls or rooms involved, photos, approximate dimensions, the wallpaper details and whether old paper needs removing. Mention wall damage and any painting or trim work you want considered with the installation.
What affects the estimate for wallpaper installation?
The selected paper, wall measurements and condition, removal or repair work, openings and access all affect the scope. A single-wall project differs from a whole room with existing wallpaper. Request a free estimate for the walls and material you have in mind.
