Power washing. Clean with the surface in mind.

Exterior cleaning on suitable surfaces, with condition, protection and the result you want reviewed first. Painting is a separate scope decision.

Tell us what needs cleaning, its condition and whether a new coating is planned. We discuss a suitable cleaning scope before agreeing the estimate.

If coating or wood repairs are wanted too, review exterior painting and carpentry repairs.

Plan the work around your project.

Open the topics that matter to your surfaces and how the space is used.

Name the surface and the cleaning goal.

Describe the material and area you want reviewed, such as siding, brick, wood details or another exterior surface. Send wide photos, close-ups of the marks and approximate dimensions. Explain whether the aim is a cleaner appearance or preparation for a later coating.

A cleaning estimate should identify the agreed surface and desired result. Power washing is not automatically followed by painting, and a later painted appearance is not proof of what washing alone achieved. If you want both tasks, request them together so cleaning and coating are planned as distinct stages.

If the request involves a driveway, path, deck or fence, show the material and its condition as well. We review suitability and the cleaning scope before agreeing the work.

Show the condition before choosing a method.

Point out peeling paint, worn joints, cracks, exposed wood and other visibly weakened areas. Mention existing coatings or sealers, earlier cleaning and known dampness or damage history. Share photos around doors, windows and adjoining surfaces as well as the dirt you want removed.

The cleaning approach is selected for the reviewed material and its condition; maximum pressure is not the measure of a suitable result. Cleaning does not repair damaged wood, restore every old coating or resolve an underlying moisture problem. Areas that need a different assessment should be identified before washing is agreed.

Discuss access, water and protection.

Explain how the area is reached, its height, slopes and narrow routes. Identify outdoor furniture, plantings, entrances, nearby property and fixtures to discuss protecting. Tell us about available water access and restrictions at the site.

If people, pets or vehicles need to pass through the area, mention that in the request. The estimate should connect cleaning with access and protection, rather than treating the surface as an isolated rectangle. Our washing photographs show one real brick exterior; they do not establish the right equipment setup for every site.

Agree a realistic cleaning result.

Show the marks you want addressed and explain what is known about them. Surface dirt, a lasting discoloration and a failing coating can call for different decisions. Review the expected result for the actual material before assuming every mark will disappear.

Do not use a newly painted project photograph as a promise that washing returns every surface to that color. The gray-brick album includes cleaning, wood details and a later painted finish. Its final color belongs to the wider exterior update, not to cleaning alone.

Coordinate timing if coating follows.

If repainting or staining is planned, identify the surfaces and coating boundaries in the same conversation. Readiness after cleaning depends on the material, site conditions and requirements of the next coating. There is no fixed waiting period that fits every washed surface.

Send your city, ZIP or postal code, full project address, material and area list, photos, access details, preferred timing and whether coating is included. INSPIRE discusses the scope and conditions individually by phone. A standalone cleaning request can be estimated without turning it into a painting project.

What we can include.

  • Specified suitable exterior surfaces and cleaning goal reviewed
  • Existing coating, visible damage and marks considered before agreement
  • Site access, available water and adjoining protection discussed
  • Standalone cleaning or preparation for coating clearly separated
  • Painting or staining only when included in the agreed scope

We confirm the surfaces, materials and timing in your estimate.

Can I request washing without painting?

Yes. Explain the surfaces and result you want. Cleaning can be discussed as its own request; painting or staining is included only when separately agreed.

Is the highest pressure best for every surface?

No single pressure or cleaning recipe is assumed suitable for every material and condition. Share the material, existing coating and visible damage so the approach can be reviewed.

Can washing remove every stain?

Every mark is not assumed removable. Show close-ups and the overall surface so visible dirt, discoloration and coating condition can be discussed with a realistic cleaning result.

Does the gray-brick after photo show washing alone?

No. The gray-brick project includes washing and a later painted exterior. The final color is not presented as the outcome of cleaning alone.

What should I send for a power-washing estimate?

Send your city and ZIP or postal code, project address, material and surface list, approximate dimensions, photos of dirt and damaged areas, access and water details, and whether a later coating is planned.
